    DRE REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY FOR THE BROKER'S EXAM:
    1. Complete 8 college-level courses including Real Estate Practice, Real Estate Law, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Appraisal, and Real Estate Economics or Accounting.

    2. Minimum of 2 years full-time licensed salesperson experience within the last 5 years, or:
      1. 4-year degree from an accredited college, or
      2. Member of any State Bar or a graduate of a recognized law school, or
      3. Associate of Arts Degree plus 1 year of full-time experience.
    OUR PLAN:
    1. Complete the 5 required courses listed above and three elective courses from our other courses: Principles, Business Law, Propery Management, Loan Brokering, and Escrows.

      If you have taken any of these courses in college, call our office for advice on how to proceed.

      If you already have a California DRE-issued Regular Salesperson License, then you already have 3 of the required 8 courses complete. Call us so that we may help you determine which course you would need to complete.

    2. Do the exam preparation for the DRE test. Take a One-Day Crash Course available in 4 locations in Southern California, consisting of a packet of 750 questions and answers, audio CD's, and a comprehensive 1-Day Seminar for $135.00.

    3. You will be ready for the 5-hour Broker's Exam and pass with more that the required 75%.

    2. The open-book final exams will be scheduled near you from our large source of monitors, or you can take the test at our Internet Testing Section and print your certificate from your computer.

    3. Maximum time to do each course is one year and minimum time between each test is 18 days. Order early so the clock starts running.

    4. Home study courses are recommended because a live program would involve 15 nights of class time for each course (if you can find the classes).
